Je sais pas trop quoi en penser. Je trouve qu'on s'éloigne des Volvo manuelles qui sentaient la Suède à plein nez. Mais c'est vrai qu'avec les nouveaux X4, GLA, Série 3 GT, etc., la tendance est de ce type.
Il y a un utilisateur de MotorTrend qui a avancé un point de vue intéressant je trouve, mais qui reste à confirmer, en parlant des normes CAFE aux É-U sur l'économie d'essence imposé aux manufacturiers:
''They do this simply to dodge CAFE "passenger car" fuel economy requirements. Jack it up 2.5 inches and it's now a "light truck" which CAFE standards allows lower MPG numbers. The very regulation designed to reduce fuel economy opened a loophole and only led to the death of the large wagon and to the creation of the SUV. Talk about unintended consequences. Idiots.''
