radio lighting not working..WT!!!

Hi everyone, been a couple of weeks that my radio "illumination" lights (not the display but around buttons) doesn't come on with other lighting...it did come one twice in these 2 weeks and then don't come on the next time i start the car. The radio is the HU-650. Anyone else experience this? are there lights around the HU itself or are they all within the unit and have to change the whole thing? possible fuse on the way out?

Hi Fabio!

I had a similar problem, but as you know my car is an S 70. The lights gradually burned out. My mechanic had to remove the radio, open it, and change the little bulbs (6, I think). It was 1 hr. labour, and a few dollars for the bulbs.

I was looking around at some fuses inside the car, changed a few but still have the same problem..i thought maybe a loose wire in the back of the radio??

same problem

We had the same problem on XC70 2004. Some bulbs not lighting in the CCM (climate control module). I thought one day I will replaced the bulbs, BUT they came back alive few months later. No more problem, this was 2 years ago.

I LOVE those failures.
