calling S60 owners with baby/kids...

Hi everyone...i was just wondering...to those of you who have a child or baby and own a s60..do you find you have enough room? is the trunk roomy enough
(stroller..ect)? does the back seat have enough room (kid seat/rear facing seat)??? thanks

I have 2 kids. One of 2 and one of 5 years old. The trunk is fine with me. The girls love the car! I am pass the new born stage. So I don't have to cary the play center and all the stuff a newborn needs. Actualy I just went for a camping trip and my s60 broke at quebec city. My sister in law lent me her nissan versa hatch back and even if the s60 trunk was filled up to the max it still fit in the trunk of the nissan versa.

Hi JAyeff...ya unfortunatly we're not quite there yet..the 2 year old is okay, but it's the new one that will be in a rear-facing seat....and of course the strollers and all..thanks

De mon côté, la R convient pour le moment à la petite famille. Deux enfants: la petite de deux ans et le grand de cinq ans.

Je n'ai jamais eu, dans cette auto, le siège face à l'arrière (new born 5-35 lbs). Je possède seulement le siège face vers l'avant (22- 50lbs).

L'espace arrière y reste respectable, pour les enfants. Pour les adultes, ça commence à être serré, selon moi. Disons que ça pourrait être mieux. L’espace pour les jambes est juste et l’accès est difficile de par le dessin de la carrosserie à l’arrière, mais ce n'est pas un drame!

En ce qui concerne la valise, elle est très surprenante pour sa capacité! Tu peux facilement y loger une poussette (grand format) et quelques bagages en plus. Tout à fait le contraire de la Mazda3 de ma copine, qui se remplit juste avec la poussette!

La S60 reste une voiture acceptable pour sa capacité de l'habitacle... Mais peut rapidement être dépassée... Ce qui me mènera, éventuellement, à devoir la changer, quand le troisième sera en route!
