did an alignment..now notice "clunking" noise?

Hi everyone, well i got an alignment yesterday (to see if it was causing my pulling) ...it seems to be still there ...but i was driving on the 40 today, well stuck in traffic actually, i had the windows down and as i slowly moved along and drove over the road ties on the ground i could here a slight "clunking" noise coming from the front suspension...any ideas? strut mount? spring seat?
if it's one of these, should i also change out the strut while we're at it? it think they are still good but could be wrong...

about alignments, you shouldnt do it intill your tires are wearing, or your stearing wheel is crooked. stock alignments are best. the pulling could be due to uneven tire wear (1 wheel wonder) uneven tire pressure.
my summer tires and rims make my car pull but my winters are straight as an arrow.

the clunking i have no idea but those are good guesses.

Hey Matt..well i just put on the summer tires (17's) ...the winters are 16's...i notice the pull less then when i had the winters on...i guess that the winters are softer compund..where as the summers have a slightly lower profile and stiffer sidewalls...

Needs to be up on the lift to check front supension ! , maybe a link , maybe a shock , maybe upper strut mount ..... Maybe maybe maybe !!

Marius....that's way too many maybe's for me!!!! i need answers dalmit! haha
and no the vespa is not easier with pot-holes...actually worst!

til now, the answer by a few garages has been that the front end components are okay... my thing is with strut assembly and the surrounding components...(mounts,bushings,spring seat) ...to you..if you have a "clunking" noise which of these mentioned parts would you think to look at?

don't get me know, i know we have bad roads and all, but shouldn't these parts (escpecially struts) last a little longer then 5 years????
