04 s60R angle gear reconstruire

I'm attempting to redo my angle gear my self... I've done a lot of reading and searching and have decided before buying a angle gear replacement to try this... as you'll see I've removed and dismantled my front angle gear in hopes it was just a sleeve... I was dead wrong.

I've drilled 3 holes 120 degrees from each other 3/8 d�a. I will be welding directly to the splined angle gear hollow shaft. Fingers crossed!

Drilled... bearings in hand... seals 2 days out...

How much KM are you done with the original sleeve ?

why the manufacture are not make just one piece ?? next time you have to change the main axle.

I opened up mine after 300 000 Km and it's not worn like yours.

Sì c'est le sleeve d'origine il y a 200000km d'usure. Mais je suis sur que c'était changer. J'ai acheté le R avec 170000km... le côté transmission est parfait Come neuve... en fin moi j'ai souder pour le agrandir après usiné come un press fit. Chauffe le neuve sleeve pis j'ai seulement tappe à place. Après refroidissement je l'ai souder à place.
Je vien tout de le remonter avec de shock neuve links, bushings et un couple d'autre petit morceau. Fingers crossed!

J'ai oublié de te faire pensé de faire un trou threader pour vider le housing, car tu avait tout en main .
