srs-airbag service urgent

hi guys i have a volvo s60 2.4t 2003 an i bought the car with the code on and after countless hours of internet searching an visit to the mechanic all i got is that i need a new cluster..my mechanic tried to reset with the diagnostic it didn even dissapear not even for a second...the air bag light does light in the dashboard when key is in the 3 position..does anyone else experienced this an fixed it without purchasing a new cluster??any suggestions are apreciated thx

Did you go to a Volvo dealer or Volvo specialist? The Airbag light cannot be reset by a generic scanner...

Have it scanned to see what the codes are to know why the light is on...
