Selling my 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo Manual with ~190000-200000km.
Looking for 2800$
Car is a factory manual T5 model, pretty rare in Canada/US.
The car is painted black with a Matte black hood, roof and trunk.
Comes with stock Volvo T5 mags, as seen in the photo of just the wheel. Other mags (R Pegasus Mags) could be sold separately for a decent price as well. I’ve been the owner for 5-6 years, did about 7000km a year with it. Really fun car, very powerful, turns a lot of heads as it is unique.
The good:
-2.3L - 5 cylinder turbo engine
-Manual transmission
-Turbo 16T from newer S70 volvo
-Front Mount Intercooler
-ARD Tune, 17psi + OBD2/Motronic 4.4 conversion
-IPD lowering springs (1.75-2” drop, drives fine in winter with it)
-New Costco Battery
-3” Downpipe followed by 2.5” exhaust from the Catalytic converter to the back (beautiful sound)
-Turbosmart Blowoff Valve
-IPD Cold Air Intake
-Front lip from Volvo 940
-Snabb Short shifter
-Snabb turbo inlet pipe
-IPD urethane transmission mount
-Bilstein Touring Shocks
-R Manifold
-MSD Ignition Coil
-Power windows, seats, mirrors, sunroof
-Tinted windows
-HID headlights + fog lights
-Comes with 16" S70 T5 Mags + Summer tires, good for one season max
-Timing belt was just changed last winter
The bad:
-Electronic issue with heater position switch…heaters DO work, but I can’t get them to change position. Stopped working this winter
They're stuck in the front position, pointing to the driver/passenger faces
-Needs a boost gauge, as the one I had in it was removed to put in my new car...
-A/C doesn’t work
-Cruise control doesn't work
-No handbrake, cables rotted, so I removed them…
-Got tickets for my black taillights, so removed them. They are now legal and RED. (they're black in the picture, I'll get a new one up soon)
-Mileage counter stopped working when I bought the car…
-Car isn’t new…has some rust on rear driver fender and trunk
Reason for sale:
-Just bought a newer car, looking to pay some of it off
