Any chance that block will fit with my ECU if I swap the whole harness to convert from 4.4 to 4.3 with obd1 ? Technically, if I swap the turbo, the manifold and all the bolt-ons to this bloc I could run fine ? I know there is a weak in the HG on those 2.4 but, still, if I do a little refresh on the head... and since the compression seems to be perfect, I was figuring out I could run without any issues...
And also, you were thinking about swapping a P2 2.4T into your S70, why don't you just take this engine and put it in ?

The motor would swap in no problem, but I don't have the harness...
You would run fine swapping all of your stuff, in fact there's tons of guys in the states running 16T conversions on their GLT's without problems...
As for me, the P2 2.4T's are much stronger engines. If my T5 engine blew up, then I would swap in a 2.4T/2.5T with a GT series turbo, Turbo-tuner, and push 400-450hp out of it...there are a few guys in Sweden who are doing that right now on internally stock engines...
But until then, I'm content with running my T5 engine for the time being...although I do have an 18T on it's way to my house...

I'll keep that in mind... I'm just trying to figure out if I still keep the car for one last year or if I get that bloc into my car to run another + 300 000 kms lol ! Cause it's pretty cheap and Marius will swap me that thing 2 fingers in the nose.

Lol! True, but honestly unless there's something wrong with your current engine, I wouldn't bother...
I'd only swap out the engine when it blows!
